The De Villiers family first set foot on South African soil as part of the French Huguenots in May of 1689. The family has been involved with wine making stemming back to France and continued the tradition in South Africa.
In 1998 the first vines were planted in the De Villiers family vineyards in one of the finest terroirs of the Overberg. Today vineyards of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz bush grow here in the the mild climatic conditions of this unique territory. With guidance from top wine consultants we ensure that the process is started right with the production of high quality grapes. We work hard in order to produce our top class wines.
